My body just isn't as durable as it used to be & aches & pains are common. I was looking for the ol' fashioned ice bag, couldn't find a durable one anywhere, & my doctor told me about these. Incredible! The product can be cold or hot, whatever you need. You can make them mildly cold or warm, or blisteringly hot or frigid cold. One warning is that when microwaving, the inside heats up before the outside, so at first touch you don't think it's very warm. But put it on & in a minute or so the heat really cranks up. I looked at the negative reviews here & can say this... If you don't follow directions, they can explode. If you do follow directions, they will never get close to exploding. And about the one that said it doesn't get very cold - Huh? When I take mine out of the freezer it immediately ices up. At work I showed the guys the inner pack right out of the freezer & it was so cold they couldn't hold it for more than 60 seconds. In other words, it'll get as cold as your freezer does. I use mine several times a week at the minimum. The cold/hot will last a surprising 45 minutes. I don't want to repeat what the others have said, but do want to point out how well this manufacturer thought out this product - it is really good!ThermiPaq Therapeutic Hot & Cold Pad Overview
