I've carried a copy with me daily for the last several weeks to help respond to questions from patients, nurses, and surgeons regarding preoperative preparation. The book has not only provided reasoned answers but is also serving to identify improvement opportunities for our preanesthesia protocols. The chapters covering medication management and benefits of preanesthesia clinics have been particularly helpful thus far.
