Kirkland Signature Low Dose Aspirin, 2 bottles - 365-Count Enteric Coated Tablets each Review
I have an irregular heartbeat. It's a now and then thing. I've had it since the early 80s and I've learned not to worry about it. In fact, I've run a marathon when it was irregular. I rode the roller coasters at Disneyland with an irregular heartbeat. My wife gets a little more concerned about it than I do, so I talked to my doctor. He said that people with irregular heartbeats (rather common) have a slightly higher chance of stroke and he advised to use a blood thinner to avoid the possibility of clotting. I resisted taking any powerful drug, of course, particularly since I'd never experienced any pain or other negative effects with my irregular heartbeat. We discussed the matter and agreed that perhaps I might try taking baby aspirin on a daily basis as a way of thinning the blood a bit. Well, it seems to work. I've had some scratches and small cuts since that time and my blood now seems to flow more freely than it used to.In any case, the question might be as to which baby aspirin I might use. Well, aspirin is aspirin, isn't it? Does it really matter what brand one uses? My doctor says no and specified only the 81 mg variety. So, the next time I was at my local warehouse store, I picked up some Kirkland Signature Low Dose (81 mg) aspirin and I've been using it on a daily basis for over a year. I've had no problems. It goes down easily and has caused no gastric distress. The main problem has been remembering to take it, but that's not the fault of the aspirin.
